Did electrified aviation hit 80 flights a day yet?
Pretty close! Our figures put it at just over 70.
This time, our numbers show that electrified flights are doubling every six months.
We had predicted it would double in four months, though, so it turns out we were a little optimistic!
Pipistrel still dominates the numbers. This is largely on the strength of schools like E Flight Academy in the Netherlands, and also newer schools like Sealand Flight School recently here in Canada. E Flight Academy flies ~ 36 flights per week just by themselves. Sealand is starting strong, though, already at 10 flights per week.
If we take Pipistrel out, we can see that Joby is growing fast too, and has crept past 10 flights per day. After that, Beta and H55 / BRM Aero are neck and neck, around 5 to 6 flights per day each.
Archer has finally started showing up, though still not in any great numbers. I suppose this means that Joby and Beta are further ahead in certification progress.
