ZeroAvia performs 690km test flight
Exceeding their stated target range by 130 km today, a ZeroAvia powered DO-228 took off from Cotswold airport, cruising between 180 and 205 kts, flew over and beyond Exeter and back home, only landing after 690 km, with endurance nearing two hours.
This is impressive range endurance and cruise speed, even if its likely only carrying the pilot.
In 2024, they were reporting their longest flights at 35 minutes, where this one racked up nearly two hours endurance

It’s even exceeding what we’ve seen the hybrids do - we’ve clocked VoltAero’s Cassio at 260km, and Ampaire’s electric eel at 230km, and those flights didn’t exceed 150 kts. This is more than double the range all while flying faster.
